    Background

    John is a veteran in the marketing communications business, with over 20 years of client leadership and marketing innovation experience across dozens of big name brands. He has a diverse background, from branding at DDB to leading CRM, digital and technology initiatives on the client side at Ticketmaster. John has a history with RAPP, having worked here prior to his return in 2016. He brings his experience and knowledge to lead the RAPP Los Angeles and Dallas offices.

    RAPP is home for me. After being away, I found nowhere more focused on driving business forward and delivering value through creative, innovative thinking. RAPP’s internal dedication to people and culture is second to none.

    Amy Rangel

    Director, Human Resources

    Background

    Based in the Los Angeles office, Amy is responsible for HR in the LA and Dallas offices. With 14 years of business partnering and generalist experience – from startups, to agencies, to corporate – she's done it all. Amy comes to RAPP from CBS interactive, where she managed the entertainment group that covers CBS.com and All Access. Prior to CBSi, she was at Razorfish in San Francisco, where she partnered with the MD’s for the SF, Portland, and LA offices.

    I have worked at different types of companies over the years and agencies have always felt like home. I truly believe in RAPP’s ability to connect with the individual and the way they approach problem solving is something I have not seen anywhere else. It’s my mission to build a culture that allows our teams to thrive and truly have an impact on our industry.

    Michael Tinaza

    Background

    With over 17 years of experience in project management and operations, Michael joined RAPP in 2013 to lead LA’s delivery organization. He collaborates closely with an incredibly talented and diverse group of data-driven thinkers and innovators to build memorable brand experiences with creative excellence top of mind. Michael has had the opportunity to work with and for brands such as Mazda North American Operations, Nissan North America, KIA, Toyota, Cosmopolitan of Las Vegas, Mercury Insurance Group and Yellowpages.com.

    As media and technology force change on how marketers build relationships between their brands and customers, I wanted to work with “real” practitioners who have the precision and discipline to evolve and build those engaging experiences that matter most.

    Dave Scott

    SVP, Group Creative Director

    Background

    Dave’s a no-shoe-wearing, award-hungry Creative Director who’s forever pushing himself – and his team – for that extra 5%. In a career spanning over 20 years, he’s worked in the UK, Australia and China at agencies including RAPP, Grey, Clemenger, Bates and Ogilvy. In 2016, he took the role of SVP, Group Creative Director at RAPP Los Angeles, achieving a lifetime ambition of working in the United States. Driven by a passion for creating innovative campaigns based on genuine customer insights, he has picked up awards for both creativity and effectiveness, including Gold Caples for his work on Toyota in the UK, Best In Show at Mobius, a USPS’ Golden Mailbox Award at Echo and two Cannes Lions. He tends to say what he thinks. So he’s rarely at a loss for words. You know the sort.

    It’s the right time. RAPP now have a model that makes it possible to mix creativity, insights and data into compelling creative that gets results. It’s like admiring a beautiful cake while you tear it apart and devour it. What’s not to love?

    Hamish McCollester

    SVP, Group Creative Director

    Background

    Hamish is best known for solving creative problems… and creatively solving problems. He started his ad adventure 25 years ago in a rogue New York agency, writing mind-altering copy and being the body model for various Joe Camel illustrations. Yes, that Joe Camel. In his five years at RAPP, he has leveraged his award-winning expertise in financial, automobile, membership, and other categories to push the team (and clients) to create great, smart work.

    Jason Henry

    SVP, Director of Finance
    and Operations

    Background

    Jason leads RAPP's finance and operations for the LA and San Francisco offices. He has 15+ years of experience in the marketing industry and has been with RAPP since 2007. Prior to RAPP, he was CFO of communications agency Clark & Weinstock and began his career in public accounting with Arthur Andersen. He is a CPA and holds an MBA from New York University and a B.S. in Accounting and Economics from Syracuse University.

    Why I'm At RAPP

    I’m a huge fan of integrated marketing and I’m a bigger fan of agencies that can deliver on their promise. When RAPP offered me the privilege to lead their business development efforts I was excited to join an agency with real experience delivering on integrated marketing. But I didn’t join just because of that; it is the people I met, and now work with, that truly believe in that mission that makes RAPP the best choice for me or anyone else.

    Bree is a seasoned expert in data-driven strategy and marketing analytics. With various leadership roles in technical consulting, marketing and business development, Bree provides a wide understanding and experience applying analytics-generated insights to achieve growth in startups and big-name brands. She is a graduate with dual MBA from University of Wisconsin and an MS – Predictive Analytics from Northwestern University.

    Paul Blockey

    Background

    Paul joined RAPP to fuse creativity, data and technology together in ways that mutually advance brands and the people they serve. A doctor of psychology with over 18 years of agency experience, Paul is applying behavioral science to the craft of designing progressive creative solutions. He oversees a robust team of experience strategists, analysts and data scientists who combine human insight and empathy with precision use of data.
